I gave myself a series of restrictions for this little project. For each track, I attempted to make, mix & master ethereal music from scratch in under an hour using just one recently purchased 1980’s synth. I used no click tracks or bpm’s, no midi… I simply recorded performances of myself playing. Very much a deliberate attempt to switch up my previous way of making music which was pretty much just “in the box”, glued to a laptop screen, using the laptop keyboard & trackpad whilst slumped on the sofa!
